Use & Storage
Use
To avoid resistant strains of downy mildew developing, Rutec Fungi-Fos 400 should be applied as close as possible to the day of infection and alternated with other systemic fungicides.
Rutec Fungi-Fos 400 is compatible with Mancozeb, Copper Oxychloride, Bayleton, Tilt and most common powdery milder fungicides. Most foliage nutrients are also compatible. When using in conjunction with ‘EC’s’ always form emulsion with water before adding Fungi-Fos 400.
Storage
Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Rutec products are widely compatible with other agrochemicals. Contact your agronomist for more information.
Safety
Restraints:
DO NOT graze or cut for stock food for 14 days after application.
DO NOT apply Rutec Fungi-Fos 400 Fungicide at volumes which cause excessive run off.
Spray drift restraints:
Specific definitions for terms used in this section of the label can be found at apvma.gov.au/spraydrift
DO NOT allow bystanders to come into contact with the spray cloud.
DO NOT apply in a manner that may cause an unacceptable impact to native vegetation, agricultural crops, landscaped gardens and aquaculture production, or cause contamination of plant or livestock commodities, outside application site from spray drift. The buffer zones in the relevant buffer zone table/s below provide guidance but may not be sufficient in all situations. Wherever possible, correctly use application equipment designed to reduce spray drift and apply when the wind direction is away from these sensitive areas.
DO NOT apply unless the wind speed is between 3 and 20 kilometers per hour at the application site during the time of application.
DO NOT apply if there are hazardous surface temperature inversion conditions present at the application site during the time of application. Surface temperature inversion conditions exist most evenings one to two hours before sunset and persist until one to two hours after sunrise.
It is recommended that a mask, gloves, and eyewear is worn when handling. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wash hands immediately after use. Not for consumption.
For more information, refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
Liability
This product must be used strictly as directed. Rutec will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to strictly follow the directions for use.
Group 33 Fungicide: For fungicide resistance management, Fungi-Fos 400 is a Group 33 fungicide. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to Fungi-Fos 400 and other Group 33 fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any fungal population. The resistant fungi can eventually dominate the fungal population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi will not be controlled by Fungi-Fos 400 and other Group 33 fungicides, thus resulting in a reduction in the efficacy and possible yield loss. Sunce the occurrence of resistant fungi is difficult to detect prior to use, Rutec accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Fungi-Fos 400 to control resistant fungi.
